Application For Membership to Nebraska Geological Society

1. Dues shall be payable as of September 1 and delinquent if not paid by the following December 1. The fiscal year shall be from September 1 through August 31.
2. Active Members: (Dues $20.00) Any person engaged in geological or allied professions who holds a baccalaureate degree in the Earth Sciences or who is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, the Geological Society of America, the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, or who is eligible for membership in any of these associations, shall be eligible for Active Membership in this Society.
3. Associate Member: (Dues $5.00) Any person who professes an interest in the Science of Geology shall be eligible for associate membership. Such associate members shall not be eligible to hold office or to vote for the election of officers.
4. Student Members: (Dues FREE) Any person engaged in the study of the Earth Sciences shall be eligible for student membership. At the time of application, the student must be currently enrolled at an institute of higher education. Student members shall not be eligible to hold office or to vote for the election of officers.
